Technology tamed
I’m certainly not what you could call a ‘techno geek’; the World Wide Web as we know it today was barely out of short trousers when I was at college and all my essays were handwritten. But now? Like everyone else, I simply couldn’t do my job without email, the internet or a mobile.

Campaign trail
With the Party Conference season having just finished and the Government’s 2010 Spending Review soon to be announced (at the time of writing), it is an apt moment for the Get Britain Building coalition to seek to raise awareness and gain more leverage with its latest initiative to promote the building industry and the contribution it can make to the UK’s economic recovery.
