After 37 years of “professionalism and English humour” Franke UK wave goodbye to Duncan Marr
After a remarkable 37 years of service at Franke, Duncan Marr is leaving to enjoy his retirement by “maximising his investments and minimising his golf handicap”. He will, however, be referred to on a consultancy basis over the next year or so. The new Managing Director for Franke UK is Tracey Bamber.

Jewson MD given honorary doctorate degree
Peter Hindle MBE, Managing Director of Jewson & Chief Executive for Saint-Gobain Building and Distribution has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Birmingham City University. The degree has been awarded in recognition of his outstanding business achievements, charitable work and ongoing support for Birmingham City Business School.

New director at BPF Plastic Pipes Group
The Plastics Pipes Group (PPG) of the British Plastics Federation has appointed Caroline Ayres as its new Director, following the retirement of Frank Jones at the end of 2012. Frank Jones has been Director since 1993 and will remain as a Consultant to the PPG. Frank has made the PPG the thriving group it is today.
