Vokèra attains MCS accreditation

{news_image_alt}

Boiler manufacturer Vokèra is pleased to announce that its air source heat pump, the AriaPRO, has received Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation.

Suitable for new and retrofit applications, the high performance AriaPRO converts ambient heat from the atmosphere into useable energy for heating and hot water, helping homeowners to save money on their fuel bills and reduce their carbon footprint. The Aria PRO can achieve temperatures up to 60oC and is effective even when the outside temperature falls below zero and can still produce heat from conditions as low as -20oC.
The MCS is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme. In order to qualify for government-led initiatives such as the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), products must be chosen from an MCS certified list and installed by an MCS accredited installer - meaning that Vokèra’;s AriaPRO heat pump can now be specified.

Alister Maclachlan, product director at Vokèra, comments: “The AriaPRO is a flexible renewable solution as it can be used for both hot water and space heating - something many other ‘green’ options are unable to offer, making it an environmentally friendly and practical option for many homeowners.”

“Gaining the MCS accreditation is an assurance of the quality of the AriaPRO, and ensures customers can access funding from the RHI, providing peace of mind and confidence that they will get the most out of their renewable installation.”
