Vent-Axia Launches its First Online CPD

{news_image_alt}

Vent-Axia has launched its first online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) module.

Entitled ‘Part F and Part L of the Building Regulations 2010’, the free online module explains how the legislation affects ventilation and is accredited by the Construction CPD Certification Service. An addition to Vent-Axia’s existing training portfolio, the new online CPD will allow construction professionals the flexibility to complete a valuable module at a time to suit them, fitting in with busy work schedules.
Peter Smith, Specialist Sales and Training Manager at Vent-Axia comments:
“With the Government keen to meet carbon targets the construction industry is facing major changes. CPD is essential to stay abreast of the sector’s issues, regulations and technology. We have therefore launched the first of a series of free online CPDs to allow construction professionals the flexibility to gain vital knowledge at a time that suits them. Generally, organisations and professional bodies require their members to undertake between 25-50 hours of CPD per annum, our online CPDs will therefore make a valuable contribution to this yearly requirement.”
To access the new online CPD modules interested applicants should visit Vent-Axia’s website www.vent-axia.com/cpd, select the relevant module and register their names to gain access to a PowerPoint presentation. Once applicants have read and thoroughly reviewed the presentation there is an online questionnaire on the topic to complete the CPD. Applicants will receive an email within five working days of completion confirming whether they have passed the CPD. Successful applicants will receive a CPD certificate via email.
Vent-Axia will launch two further online modules: ‘Energy Recovery for Schools’ and ‘Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation’ in the coming weeks.
