Travis Perkins will be presenting a series of measures that will demonstrate how it can help its customers meet the needs of the sustainable building agenda at this year’s Ecobuild exhibition. The builders merchant can be found on stands 710 and 611 (North Hall) from 20th - 22nd March 2012 at the Excel exhibition centre in London.
Paul Joyner, Director of Sustainable Building Solutions at Travis Perkins Group commented: “Tradesmen increasingly have to meet the challenge of retrofitting products in existing homes, as well as adhering to the new building regulations and the code for sustainable homes. In order to support them in this task, we’ll be on hand at Ecobuild to provide them with the advice and tools they need to do so.
“At Travis Perkins Group we have the ability to provide customers with integrated sustainable building solutions, bringing together the skills and resources of the UK’s leading building products and plumbing merchant to create a one stop shop for all sustainable building requirements. Ecobuild provides us with a great opportunity to showcase our extensive range of products and services at our fingertips to both new and existing customers that will enable them to meet this growing challenge.”
“For this year, our Ecobuild stand will be packed with new initiatives. We have a new Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS) website for which initial customer feedback tells us is the most informative in the industry. We also have an industry first for a UK merchant with the launch of our new Standard Construction Drawings, which have been developed with the LABC and BRE and will really help architects, contractors and house-builders deal with building regulations. We will also be showcasing our integrated solutions, products, technical skills, services and installer training that has allowed us create a one stop shop for all sustainable building requirements”.
