The new eHouse feature from Sika allows professionals and DIYers to find the solution to a whole host of building, repairing, decorating and maintenance issues at the simple click of a button.
Recently launched on the Sika Distribution website, the 3D eHouse provides a virtual ‘walk through’ view of a standard house and allows the user to explore each area, room by room, to find out which of the company’s products are best suited to the job in question.
To start, users are given the opportunity to explore either the interior or exterior view of the eHouse. From here, the user is then able to select the specific area of the house in which they are looking to carry out work. For example, by clicking directly on the garage floor, the user will be presented with a series of four options: Patching & Repairs, Subfloor Preparation, Floor Finish and Joint Sealing – under each of these categories, the most suitable Sika products will be displayed with a full break down of how to use them.
Jayne Hasoon, Product Manager from Sika, said: “With such a wide range of products all designed for different projects, it made sense to combine our leading expertise and customer driven innovation to deliver a ‘one stop’ solution for those unsure where to start. The Sika eHouse is incredibly easy to use and makes it simple for professionals and DIYers to get to grips with our full offering whilst learning a little more about how to use the selected product too.”
