PTS customers can locate spares without leaving their desk
PTS has introduced a desktop version of its MiSpares software to help customers identify, locate and order the parts that they need from their PC or laptop, without leaving their desk.
The desktop option has been launched following the popularity of the original smart phone version, which is now widely used by plumbing and heating installers throughout the UK.
MiSPARES allows users to search 90,000 parts from 60 different manufacturers by product number, keyword, gas council number or manufacturer code. Supported by 16,000 live images and 12,000 schematic drawings, it’s easy to identify the right part, find the nearest branch of PTS and place an order.
Martyn Farrelly, Spares Operations Director at PTS, said: “The smart phone version of MiSpares has proven to be a massive success with many of our customers identifying and ordering products whilst out onsite.
PTS is constantly striving to make life easier for installers and creating a desktop option was a natural progression for our MiSpares offering. Customers can use this version on their desktop computer or laptop and it is compatible with both PC and Mac.”
