Professional Builders Merchant

Jackie Barnes has recently joined Buttle’s in the role of Financial Controller. Jackie has a background with a national distributor in the electrical wholesale trade, a group of garden centres and automotive parts distributors, all relevant experience for this growing builders’ merchant. Jackie will be part of the senior management team, reporting to Kevin Middleton, Joint Managing Director. The Accounts and IT team all reported to Jackie with immediate effect.

Also joining is Dave Carter, formerly Commercial Manager at Gibbs &Dandy. Dave is joining the team as Product Manager, reporting to Phil Norton. Dave will be responsible for procurement, product and price management and will also be the main Buttle’s contact at h&b Group.

Further strengthening of the teams has been made at Leighton Buzzard branch where Neil Williams takes on the Branch Manager role and, for St Albans, Kevin Scott as Area Sales Manager. Kevin Middleton joined Buttle’s earlier this year and has been working with Peter Buttle to build the teams that will take the company forward in the coming years.
