TTF announces softwood imports beat the forecast in 2010, but advises volumes will be lower in 2011
In 2010, 5.23 million m3 of softwood was imported to the UK and in 2011, volume is predicted to fall to 4.81 million m3, a decline of 8.1%.
Modest recovery is forecast for 2012, with softwood import volume projected to increase by 3.5% to 4.98 million m3.

Construction needed to stimulate economic growth
